2025 Student Success Summit
Transformational Leadership
Feb. 10-11, 2025 | University of Kentucky, Gatton Student Center
The fourteenth annual Kentucky Student Success Summit will focus on leadership and how we, as individuals and as campuses, can foster collaboration and innovation between Kentucky's campuses and other sectors. If you are committed to improving your skills needed to further your career - whether you hold a formal leadership position or not - we invite you to participate in this year's Student Success Summit, where our agenda will focus on how you can foster collaboration and innovation between Kentucky's campuses and other sectors.
This year's Summit features an opening keynote by Dr. Tristan Denley, who serves as deputy commissioner for Academic Affairs and Innovation at the Louisiana Board of Regents. Throughout his career, he has taken a hands-on approach in a variety of initiatives impacting student success. Among his most recent work has been the development and implementation of a comprehensive system-scale student success strategy known as the Momentum Year, which transforms developmental education and advising. He also developed and launched the nexus degree, which is a new accredited degree type, which integrates multi-course learning and internship/apprenticeship requirements.
The closing keynote features Dr. Tia McNair, a partner at Sova, who will provide guidance to institutions on equity, inclusive excellence, high-impact practices and campus climate. A nationally acclaimed and award-winning scholar who has co-authored several books, McNair's body of work centers on bettering campus systems and pathways to support 21st century learning and long-term success.
